Meeting Minutes for June 2025

 

CALL CQ  -.-.  --.-  THAT’s WHAT WE DO!

 

The June meeting of the East Tennessee DX Association (ETDXA) was held on 6/16/25   Our President Tim Berarducci, AJ4HW, called the meeting to order at 1800 hours.

 

Attendance:

Members in-person:  13  Members on Zoom: 6

Guests in person: 0  Guests on Zoom: 0

Total attendance:  19

 

Health and Welfare:  Nothing reported.                                                                              

 

Old Business: Continued need for a club Vice President

  

Treasurer’s Report: There are enough funds to cover future contributions to Dxpeditions and club expenses. There were no transactions since the last meeting.

 

Nine new members have joined ETDXA since January!  They are Allan Gartner AE2V, David McCammon N4AER, Gabrielle Duncan-Reynolds KR4EJS, Greg Wilde AE4GW, Kelley Gunter KR4FK,  Peter Stuart K0NG, Seth Conkin N4XTT, Dawn Slover KO4RYR, Rick Slover ND4F.  Welcome all.

 

New Business: Nothing reported.                                                                              

  

DX Report: Propogation remains relatively poor.

 

Hamfest:  The Knoxville Hamfest will take place this coming weekend.

 

Program:  An excellent video was presented covering the long history of Single Side Band.

 

Door Prize:  .No raffle was held.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1828 hours.
